Andre Venance Philogene, Esq. is a seasoned Florida litigator whose practice centers on complex civil, construction‑defect, and creditors’ rights matters, with a track record of leadership roles in both law firms and corporate counsel settings. Based in Coral Springs, he is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Philogene currently serves as a Senior Attorney at Benson, Mucci & Weiss P.L. in Coral Springs, where he handles all phases of construction‑defect litigation and civil litigation matters. His work includes defending contractors and subcontractors in multiparty defect cases.
Prior to joining Benson, Mucci & Weiss, Philogene was the Managing Attorney at Tromberg, Morris & Poulin PLLC’s Florida office. In this capacity, he represented financial institutions in creditors’ rights matters across Florida, overseeing high-volume litigation and consumer debt portfolios. He managed creditors’ rights cases statewide and played a key role in increasing the firm’s Florida office’s case assignments.
Philogene’s experience encompasses substantial first-chair trial and arbitration work on both plaintiff and defense matters, as well as transactional expertise. His background includes assignment-of-benefits litigation, banking litigation, drafting a broad array of substantive pleadings, arguing motions, and conducting depositions of adjusters, experts, and corporate representatives. He has also negotiated and drafted agreements with investors and service providers, managed vendor relationships, prepared compliance reports, and analyzed regulatory concerns related to payment processing.
Philogene holds a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and a Master of Arts in Elections and Campaign Management from Fordham University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, both earned in 2011 in New York.
